On June 16, 2025, Indonesia’s Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) officially announced the termination of its anti-dumping investigation into synthetic fibre filament yarn imported from China. In Announcement No. AD.02/253/KADI/06/2025, KADI cited insufficient domestic supply as a key reason, concluding that imposing anti-dumping duties would not serve the national interest.
The investigation was originally launched on September 12, 2023, and a final affirmative ruling was issued on March 11, 2025, recommending a five-year anti-dumping duty on the targeted imports. The products in question fall under Indonesian tariff codes 5402.33.10, 5402.33.90, 5402.46.10, and 5402.46.90.
However, with the latest decision, Indonesia will not implement any anti-dumping measures, allowing continued imports of Chinese synthetic yarn without additional tariffs.
